A Return To Conflict

World War II, was the largest conflict, experienced in human history. The war began with the 1939 invasion of Poland, by Germany. The conflict witnessed rapid victories by Germany and Imperial Japan. Which was countered by a coalition of the Western allies and the Soviet Union. The war ended with the 1945 US atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
