A Calamitous Decade

The 1910s were the amongst the most chaotic periods, experienced in history. It was marked by the end of numerous empires. The 1911 Revolution ended the Qing Empire, the last Chinese imperial dynasty. The 1914, assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, ushered in WWI. Followed by the 1917 October Revolution, ending the Russian Empire. The end of WWI, was bookmarked by the abdication of Wilhelm II, ending the German Empire.
