The Manuscript Collector, Notes From The Land Of Vikings: 100 Kronur (Iceland, 1961)-Reference

This large Icelandic banknote represents the 3rd denomination of New Króna (Series 1981-86, Printed 1961). The observe features an illustration of scholar Árni Magnússon, assembler of the Arnamagnæan Manuscript Collection. The reverse depicts a monk working on a manuscript, to the left is a recreated manuscript. Notably this banknote was printed in 1961, but was issued in 1981. (Note Size: 140 x 70 mm or 5.51 x 2.76 in)
