This Mongolian banknote represents the 2nd printing of the 4th denomination of the Tögrög (Series 1993). The observe features a Shíshī (stone lion), a mythical creature borrowed from Chinese culture. They're said to guard temples and tombs from evil spirits. The reverse features the Soyombo sign, Mongolia's national symbol. Both sides feature a Paiza tablet, based on a Golden Horde artifact.
