This Peruvian banknote represents the 1st denomination (2nd variant) of the Inti (Series 1985). The observe depicts author-scholar-politician Ricardo Palma (1833-1919), writer of the 10 part-series “Peruvian Traditions” (1872-1912). The reverse features a modern farmer picking poppies, besides a traditional Quechua farmer, with a digging stick. (Note Size: 150 × 75 mm or 5.90 x 2.95 in)
