This privately issued banknote was printed by the Treasury of Guernsey. The observe features an illustration of "The Market", in Saint Peter Port. The reverse depicts Daniel De Lisle Brock, Bailiff of Guernsey (1762-1842). Notably Guernsey retain the privilege to print Pound Sterling notes, similar to Scotland and Northern Ireland.
