This Hong Kong banknote represents the 1st denomination of the HK Dollar (Series 1983-2002, Standard Charter Bank). The observe features an illustration of a mythical Bixi (Dragon Tortoise). The reverse depicts a Bauhinia flower and the Standard Charter building. Notably the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has 4 separate banknote issuers.
