This small Nepalese banknote represents the 2nd denomination of the Rupee (Series 1981-2001). The observe features a portrait of King Birendra, backed by the Bajrayogini Temple. The reverse depicts an Indian Leopard, native to the Nepalese lowlands. Notably the Nepalese monarchy ended in 2008, leaving Bhutan as the last Himalayan Kingdom.
