The observe depicts a flying Dutch Antillean Airlines DC-9-15, representing the nation's tourism industry. The ornate reverse features the 1964 version of the Antillean Coat of Arms. • Netherlands Antilles officially disbanded in 2010, forming 3 separate island nations and special municipalities, respectively.

• The Netherlands Antillean Guilder's ISO Code is ANG, short for ANtilliaanse Gulden.

• Currently the Antillean Guilder is the currency of the island nations of Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
