This South African banknote represents the 1st denomination of the Rand (Series 1992). The observe features detailed illustrations of White Rhinos. The reverse depicts a large Merino Ram's head, over a herd of Afrikaner Cattle. Notably South Africa's system of state enforced segregation was ended, in 1994.
