This colorful Vanuatuan banknote represents the sole denomination of the Vatu (Series 1995). The observe features the Vanuatuan Coat of Arms, on a guilloche backing. The reverse depict the "Family Life" statue, outside the Parliament building. To left is an illustration of a traditional tribal meeting. Notably Vanuatu's nickname is the Isle Of Smiles.
