This polymer Maldivian banknote represents the 2nd denomination of the Rufiyaa (Series 2015). The observe features a palm tree climber, backed by a group of drummers. The reverse depicts a Boduberu (Big Drum), the traditional palm wood drum of the Maldives. Notably palm trees are widely used in Maldivian culture, as a source of food and supplies.
