This small colorful Indonesian banknote represents the 1st denomination of the New Rupiah (Series 2009-16, Low Denomination). The observe features a portrait of anti-colonial hero Captain Pattimura (1783- 1817), who lead the 1817 Ambon Revolt. The reverse depict fisherman, backed by the Maluku Islands.
