This post-Soviet Turkmen banknote represents the 1st denomination of the First Manat (Series 1995). The observe features a portrait of President Saparmurat Niyazov (1940-2006), backed by the State Library of Turkmenistan, in Ashgabat. The reverse depicts the Mausoleum of Astana-Baba, near Kerki.
