This Argentine banknote represent the 3rd denomination of the Austral (1985). As an emergency measure, this 10000 Pesos (1985) banknote has been hastily overprinted. Converting it into a temporary 1 Austral banknote. Which remained in circulation, until dedicated Austral banknote could be introduced. The observe features a portrait of General Manuel Belgrano (1770-1820). The reverse features the painting "Creacion de la Bandera Argentina", by General Belgrano.
