This ornate Nepalese banknote represents the 1st denomination of the Nepalese Rupee (Series 1974). The observe features an early portrait of King Birendra (1945-2001), in his military uniform.
The reverse depicts a pair of endangered Kasturi Mirga (alpine musk deer). Mount Ama Dablam can be seen in the background. (Note Size: 107 × 70 mm or 4.21 x 2.76 in)
